Grants Received

We wish to acknowledge the Canadian Council of Archives (CCA) and the Archives Association of British Columbia (AABC) for their generous support of the work of the TWU Archives.

Work on the records of the Board of Governors, the Office of the President; the Registrar's Office, the Office of the Vice President, Academic, the University Communications Department, and the Robert N. Thompson Collection was made possible by financial assistance from the federal government through the National Archives of Canada and the CCA. In 2001 and 2002, the CCA also funded the purchase of much-needed database and web publisher software for the Archives through the Canadian Archival Information Network (CAIN) Program.

Work on describing ca. 5000 items belonging to the historical photographs collection was made possible by financial assistance from the AABC, through the Community Archives Assistance Program (1998).

We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the National Archival Development Programme - as administered by Library and Archives Canada and delivered by the CCA - in the development of the 50th Anniversary Timeline website (2008).

Work on digitizing the Student Newspaper Collection (1962-2012) was made possible by the generous financial assistance of the British Columbia History Digitization Program, which promotes free online access to unique historical material from around the province.
